A custom house portrait, hand-painted in watercolour from your photo. Your first house, the family home you grew up in, a cottage you rent every summer: if it matters to you, I will paint it.
A watercolour house portrait, painted by hand
Send a photo of the house and I paint it in soft watercolour on paper, with the garden, the front door and the details that make it yours. It makes a housewarming gift, a gift for parents leaving a long-time home, a closing gift from a realtor, or simply a way to keep a place on the wall after you have moved on.
- Painted by hand with professional-grade watercolours on premium watercolour paper. This is not a print or a photo filter.
- Painting takes about 3 to 7 days, depending on my current workload.
- Choose Digital file and you get a high-resolution (300 dpi) scan by email, ready to print at any size or use on a card.
- Original paintings are packed flat in a sturdy card envelope with a cellophane sheet and ship from Canada.
- Every piece is painted by hand, so it will be close to your photo but not an exact copy. That is the charm of a real painting.
- Want a rough sketch to approve before I paint? Mention it when you send your photo.
How to order your home portrait
- Choose a size, or Digital file if you only want the file to print.
- Send 2 to 3 clear photos of the front of the house, taken in daylight and as straight-on as you can.
- Tell me anything to add or leave out: a street number, a family name, the season, a car in the drive you would rather not see.
Add your photo when you order. If you can't upload it on this page, reply to your order confirmation email with it and I'll start from there.
As the artist I keep the copyright, and may share the finished piece in my portfolio. Tell me if you'd rather I didn't.

- We take 2 - 4 business days to process your order. The process includes printing, crafting, and packaging
- once an order is processed, we will ship it and send you a notification
- Based on your location and shipment option, the delivery may take from 2 to 30 business days
- If you don't receive the shipment after given time-frame we mentioned, please contact us, and we will gladly help you
